Plastering in Godalming
Skimming, re-plastering and rendering in Godalming, finished smooth and ready to paint.
Plastering for Godalming homes
Cracked ceilings, blown plaster, Artex and new stud walls: our plasterers skim and re-plaster rooms across Godalming and Surrey. Because the decorators are the same company, the walls are mist-coated and painted as soon as they are dry.
We also render and repair external walls, and board and skim new extensions and loft conversions for Walkers Services.
What we do
Common questions in Godalming
How long before I can paint new plaster?
Usually five to seven days in a heated room. We mist-coat first with thinned emulsion so the top coats bond properly.
Can you cover Artex?
Yes. We seal and skim over it, or remove it first if it is loose. We do not work with asbestos.
Do you plaster a single wall or room?
Yes. Small jobs are quoted at a fixed price after a quick look.
